October is Family History Month, and with holiday gatherings and next year’s trips on the horizon, families may already be thinking about where to bring every generation together.
The photo-book experts at Mixbook analyzed 100 U.S. cities across 13 factors to determine the best destinations for a family reunion, using data from Airbnb, Tripadvisor, the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Park Service.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Tucson, Arizona
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Wichita, Kansas
Charleston, South Carolina
Boise, Idaho
Sarasota, Florida
Knoxville, Tennessee
Louisville, Kentucky
Omaha, Nebraska
New Orleans claimed the top spot, while destinations ranging from Colorado Springs to Charleston also stood out as strong options for a multigenerational getaway.
