Healthy Habits: Exercise

Many of us are pressed to find time to exercise, but here are a few ways to squeeze a little extra in.

- Park farther away from the store when shopping.
- If you only have a few bags while shopping, carry them instead of using a cart.
- If you have odd waiting time, walk (such as when your kids are in activities).
- Do crunches and other ab exercises during commercials.
- Do lunges and calf raises while on the phone.
- Take five minutes in the morning to stretch. It will get things moving and make you more flexible and alert.
