Allens, Inc just launched their first Instagram
contest with a grand prize of $500, that will run from through July 31,
2013.
To enter the contest, participants must first follow Allens on Instagram
@AllensVeggies. Contestants can then post an original photo of a
recipe, meal or snack made with Allens canned products to their
Instagram page. To be eligible for the contest, each photo must include
the #31DaysofVeggies hashtag and tag @AllensVeggies in their photo
caption. All valid entries will be entered to win the grand prize of $500 from
Allens. The winner will be notified via Twitter and Instagram on August
2, 2013. In addition to the grand prize, there will be several smaller
giveaways throughout the campaign.

Marketing. “The idea behind the contest is to engage consumers on a
newer social media outlet, and display how cooking with Allens and our
brands can be fun and reach new vegetable lovers across the country.”
