Made in the USA: Evenflo

It's nice to highlight domestic companies - companies that are helping to keep more revenue right here in the States. Evenflo has a 93-year history of making juvenile products in America and is committed to keeping jobs at home, as well as increasing manufacturing and product development stateside.  The company is now embarking on a “Made in the USA” initiative to let consumers know that its car seats and ExerSaucer® activity centers are designed, engineered, molded, assembled and safety tested in the USA, with U.S. and global components.
Evenflo has consistently made investments in its Piqua, OH manufacturing plant with a focus on sustainability. The plant molds and assembles about 90% of Evenflo’s car seats and the majority of the activity centers. Evenflo molds the car seat shells and activity center platforms - then assembles the finished car seats by adding buckles, belts, pads and fabric with over 80% of those components coming from US producers. The company also designs and engineers 100% of all products in Miamisburg, Ohio and tests 100% of all products at its own product testing facility in Piqua, Ohio.
To give consumers a behind-the-scenes look at their manufacturing facility, Evenflo has also created a “Proudly Made in the USA” video just in time for the July 4th holiday. The video highlights the people who work within the Ohio facility and the safety and quality-control testing that ensures parents are getting the very best products for their children.
