Consumer Critique: The Third Rule of Ten

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

The Third Rule of Ten is the latest mystery from best-selling authors Hendricks and Lindsay featuring the ex-Buddhist and ex-LAPD officer turned go-to private detective, Tenzing "Ten" Norbu, and his high-profile clients. Although he has a new investigation in this book, the path he follows has hints of an old nemesis. Ten must navigate the balance between appropriate confidentiality and perilous secrecy.

I love mysteries. I'm sure I've mentioned that before. Any mystery that keeps my guessing until the end is great. I hadn't read any of the previous books, but had no problem jumping in; the authors do a good job of providing enough context that new readers will still feel familiar with Ten, but readers who had read previous books won't be bored. The mystery is fast-paced, easy to read, and has unexpected events - everything I like in a mystery.
