People across the U.S. can help their favorite nonprofit by combining
their passion for charity with nutritious salad-making and culinary
ingenuity. Celebrating the 35th
anniversary of the inspiration for its flagship salad dressing,
Newman’s Own—the brand that donates all profits to charity— has teamed
with Acclaimed Chef Hugh Acheson to launch “Greens for Good,” a contest
combining food and philanthropy, ideas at the core of everything
Newman’s Own touches. Entrants will submit their favorite recipes until September 23rd. Five will be picked for fan voting in October, and then one winner we receive $35,000 donated to the charity of their choice. The Newman's Own Foundation will also make a donation directly to Wholesome Wave for Chef Hugh's involvement with the initiative.
