Parenting Pointers: Talking to Your Children About Divorce

There is no doubt that divorce is a hard situation to overcome and that adapting to a new lifestyle presents challenges, especially for children. Divorce may be a situation they don't understand. It is most likely scary and confusing.

However, talking to children about divorce is vital and communicating can be a positive experience. These talks, while difficult, can lead to bonding, increased trust and an understanding that divorce is often the first step to a happier life.
