Book Nook: Outside the Lines Too

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

There's a new beautiful adult coloring book available: OUTSIDE THE LINES, TOO (Perigee/Penguin; September 1).

The second coloring book curated by Souris Hong, OUTSIDE THE LINES, TOO was just featured July’s T Magazine “Take Two” .  Packed with drawings from over 100 artists, work includes contributions from the most cutting-edge and imaginative street artists, musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists in the world, like CLAW Money, Eames Office, Shantell Martin, and more.

The book is an edgy, rich collection of a variety of styles. It's not full of patterns like other adult coloring books, but instead is appropriate for people who want things that are a little more varied, sometimes abstract, sometimes with a nod to street art, generally quite modern. I found this one in some ways easier than patterns - I didn't get as frustrated when I goofed, because it wasn't as tied to a pattern, or if I was, it was a more abstract pattern. Adult coloring books are quite relaxing - good ways to take your mind off of something while still feeling productive.
