Book Nook: Pregnancy is a Real Mother

Many expectant parents wish they could have a manual that contains everything they need to know. Even with all the books and information out there, soon-to-be parents still have questions, or don't know where to look.

I recently had a chance to review Pregnancy is a Real Mother by Dr. Jeffrey Zweig. This is a new pregnancy book that really differs from others in its comprehensiveness. It's got far more information than any other pregnancy guide I've seen, including helpful pictures, detailed answers, clear explanations, and organized sections so readers can find what they need. There are some humorous anecdotes along the way, which help humanize the information, and the book covers prenatal health, what to expect along the way, the labor and delivery process, and safe care of a newborn. If you have any question about pregnancy or birth, it is likely to be answered in this book. The size can be daunting, but it's so comprehensive that it's worth the read!
