Book Nook: How Brady & Deucey Became Buster & Lucy To Get Princess Autumn Home

How Brady & Deucey Became Buster & Lucy To Get Princess Autumn Home by J.A. Zaremski is a unique, heartwarming tale of two beloved pets who embark on a wonderful journey teach kids that, though we may lose people and pets that we love, they never truly leave us.

The book has a heartbreaking story - the author and his wife lost a pregnancy and two pets all within a few months. As they grieved, they discovered a message of hope that they wanted to share with others, to help explain loss to children.

Every family, at some point, experiences loss, whether it's a pet, a friend, or a family member. While religion can be helpful for many kids, for some kids, the religious messages of faith are quite abstract. The way this book is written can make it compatible to work with any faith tradition - whether you interpret it as being matter and energy in the cosmos, or a trip to heaven, this book can help kids make a helpful connection to the idea of the presence that loved ones will always leave with us.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Lower Bucks County, J.A. Zaremski earned a B.A. in English from Moravian College and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. He is the author of Buckminster’s Ball and the new children’s book, How Brady & Deucey Became Buster & Lucy To Get Princess Autumn Home. Zaremski currently resides in Ewing, NJ with his wife Elizabeth and fur-children Buster and Lucy.
How Brady & Deucey Became Buster & Lucy To Get Princess Autumn Home can be purchased from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
