Fun Freetime: Primrose Grand Opening in St. Louis Park

Jan. 9 marked the first day of school for dozens of preschool students at the new Primrose School of St. Louis Park West. Next Saturday, February 11, Primrose Schools Franchise Owners Saira Sidi and Sulaiman Hemani will open the doors of the school to all local families for a grand opening celebration.


The grand opening event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including:

·         A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Jake Spano

·         Safety demonstrations by the St. Louis Park Fire Department

·         Valentine’s Day-themed arts and crafts

·         A magician and story time in one of the school’s classrooms

·         An appearance by Percy the Rooster®

Community Impact

Primrose School of St. Louis Park West officially opened its doors to students on January 9 and is the 15^th Primrose school in the Minneapolis area. Adding more than 40 jobs and $4.5 million in project costs, the 13,000-square-foot school is poised to serve more than 180 local children and their families.

Primrose School of St. Louis Park West features 11 private classrooms with wireless technology and five secure, age-appropriate playgrounds. The school also features a Primrose Patch garden for gardening and nature study activities.
