Book Nook: Diaper Dude

I recently had a chance to review Diaper Dude (on sale May 9th) by Chris Pegula and Frank Meyer. Unlike most parenting guides, this one is written specifically for the dad. Chris has a very honest, tell-it-like-it-is sense of humor that's a little bit cheeky and very practical.

Chris believes that you don't have to lose who you are when you become a dad, and that it's helpful to hear from parents who have been there before. He tackles a variety of topics that come up during the first two years, like sharing duties with your partner, babyproofing, and maintaining physical intimacy. He shares stories from his own life, sprinkled with a little bit of science and psychology, to give readers useful information, lessons learned, and traps to avoid.

It's a great gift for anyone who's a new dad (or about to be one) - especially if they're a little bit of a dude.
