A Silicon Valley startup run by a power
couple Elena Krasnoperova (former eBay, PayPal, and Upwork executive
turned serial entrepreneur) and Laurent Perrodin (former senior software
engineer at Apple) aims to change that. Instead of creating yet another
app that is a barely-disguised advertising platform targeting Moms,
their new family organizer app Calroo empowers Moms to get more help
from their spouse and other family members - without any ads.
"With Calroo, asking for help is as easy as a
swipe. And when you get a response back, it is unambiguous. You know who
will be doing what, know that everything will be taken care of, and you
don't have to worry," says Elena Krasnoperova, the co-founder and CEO
of Calroo.
In the words of an Appstore reviewer, "I've
been looking for the perfect family calendar app and finally found it.
I've used Cozi before (even paid for Cozi Gold to make the ads go away),
but this is so much better! No ads, clean interface, real-time
messaging, Google calendar import, even jumping kangaroos... Love it!"
The iOS app is available for download from the Appstore. The Android app is in development and can be pre-ordered at https://www.calroo.com/
About Calroo: Calroo is
the ultimate family organizer app that helps busy parents coordinate
their family schedule. It aims to give back the 2.2 billion hours that
American families spend every year on organizing family logistics. It
was founded by Elena Krasnoperova (former eBay, PayPal, and Upwork
executive turned serial entrepreneur) and Laurent Perrodin (former
senior software engineer at Apple).
