My daughter loves art and love making gifts, so I was happy to review Creative Kids Complete Photo Guide to Braiding & Knotting. The great thing with books in this collection are that the photos really make it easy to follow. Sometimes videos are a hassle - you have to stop them, go back and watch part of it, or they go too fast or slow. Just text-based instructions can be hard to visualize. The amount of photos in this book was perfect - enough to really get an idea of what things look like step-by-step.
Most of the time, the instructions were just fine on their own; the few times there was confusion the photo helped. It made it easy for my daughter to know what she was working towards, and the projects in this book really turn out well and make great gifts - keychains, bracelets, wall hangings, and much more. It's a great summer gift for the artist or crafter in your life!
