A while back I had the chance to review When Calls the Heart - Heart of Faith. This is a continuing installment in the When Calls the Heart series. It was originally broadcast as The Heart of Christmas, and really captures a joyful Christmas spirit as everyone prepares for the celebration. A case of mistaken identity (twice) and a derailed supply train threaten to ruin the festivities.
Although it's based around Christmas, the lessons that can be learned are appropriate all year long. This DVD has a Bible study guide that goes along with it, and makes an excellent way to get more out of the DVD - either for personal study, family group devotionals, or church Bible study.
Also currently available is the When Calls the Heart Season 3 Boxset, following the continuing romance between Jack and Elizabeth as they navigate relationship difficulties due to different upbringings, family pressures, rival suitors, and criminals.
