Caring Causes: Portraits for Good/CodePurple

I received this note from Alix, the founder of PortraitsforGood.com

Last month I lost my grandma Sylvia Bass to pancreatic cancer. In her honor, and in the honor of the over 2 million* people who have passed away from this disease, I am donating 50% of portrait proceeds to CodePurple, a wonderful and necessary organization and the only national awareness and advocacy campaign to drive a bold new approach to federal pancreatic cancer research.

Pancreatic cancer has a 91% mortality rate. Please join me in supporting CodePurple and together we can work to change these statistics.

*Pancreatic cancer has killed 2,146,343 people since the U.S. declared the war on cancer in 1971.
