I recently had a chance to review Me We Do Be - The Four Cornerstones of Success by Randall Bell, PhD. Randall Bell is an expert in the field of damage economics, and brings his experience in dealing with the aftermath of disasters into the book.
Me We Do Be provides four cornerstones of focus to help improve life. Instead of focuses on a long list of habits that will inevitably be too insurmountable, or even a few ambitious habits that are still a stretch and can derail plans if missed, he recommends identifying one easy habit in each of four areas. For example, instead of a goal of 50 pushups a day, make the goal 1 pushup a day - and do more if you want to, but then keeping that habit of a single pushup a day is more attainable and can inspire further success.
The areas are quality thinking to build wisdom, quality relationships, actions to build productivity, and looking toward the future. It easily fits into anyone's definition of success. It's not tailored specifically to money, or overcoming addiction, or improving family life, or anything - instead it works with whatever the reader's goal is, incorporating enough outside examples from major events and individual cases to provide a framework for the reader to identify his or her own habits and goals.
