Soul Sustenance: The Launch Project

The Launch Project is a series of one-day gatherings (9am-4pm) designed for Christian leaders: pastors, council members, congregants - anyone interested in the future of the church. Each gathering consists of a large group session led by the presenter, small group conversation with each presenter, and a wrap-up Q&A. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Thursday, August 24: Monica Coleman, author of Bipolar Faith, explores how to maintain a faith life while suffering with a mental illness.

Thursday, September 28: Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, School for Conversion, a nonprofit that has grown out of the life of Rutba House to pursue beloved community with kids in their neighborhood, through classes in North Carolina prisons, and in community-based education around the country

Thursday, October 26: Zac Morton His work focuses on creating opportunities for people to connect with God in the natural world. He runs a Hiking as Spiritual Practice group and maintains a community garden on the site of a local homeless shelter.
