The online boutique is a real labor of love for founder and Durham-native, entrepreneur Alexander Heath. The range sprang from – and reflects – Heath’s love of all-things-Durham. “We wanted to create a brand which represents Durham in a fun, but still fashion-led way,” says Heath. “We’re hoping to give locals a chance to wear their love of Durham with pride!” The current range includes t-shirts, hoodies, long-sleeve tops and tank tops, all designed to suit a carefree lifestyle which celebrates Durham street style. With items emblazoned with the famous Durham bull, Durham-inspired slogans and much more, there’s plenty for locals to enjoy, with all items available in a wide range of colors for plenty of variety.
But Heathleaf is about much more than just clothing – the company also seeks to help support local businesses and both enhance and maintain the thriving creative community.
Durham is known around the world as the site of both Duke University and North Carolina Central University, and as a vibrant city of culture and growth. Heathleaf is working to spread the word far and wide about their great hometown – all through the medium of high-quality clothing.
