Yesterday was National Wedding Planning Day—the annual March 1 holiday that jump starts wedding planning season. In 2017, couples spent an average of $33,391 on their wedding celebration, plus countless hours in planning their perfect wedding day.

Planning a wedding? According to The Knot experts, setting your budget, creating the guest list, and searching for and booking your venue are the first wedding planning must-dos after getting engaged. Nearly half (45%) of all couples spent more on their weddings last year than originally planned, with the average couple overspending by $7,319.

The Knot, which sees a spike in site traffic and new members on National Wedding Planning Day, is rewarding their members by gifting hundreds of them with more than $250,000 in daily prizes, cash and experiences throughout the month, including:
