Book Nook: Living a Life You Love

I recently had a chance to review Living a Life You Love by Joyce Meyer. This book is all about shifting perspective to love the life you have.

We have responsibilities and burdens to bear, and often they can take away the joy we should have. But those obstacles don't have to prevent us from rejoicing in God's love. In the book, Joyce focuses on several key concepts:

  • to love life, love has to be the central theme of life
  • attitude affects life more than any other circumstance
  • love, help, and kindness that you give away will come back to you
  • keeping your joy while looking to the future

I've experienced a lot of that in my own life - especially the idea that when you give love and joy away, it returns to you, not in a tit-for-tat karma kind of way, but in the sense that you notice the positives more, and create a positive feedback loop that benefits you and those around you.

If you feel you need a way to shift your attitude and thinking to be able to love your life, consider this book.
