I recently had the chance to review The Atlas Obscura Explorer’s Guide for the World’s Most Adventurous Kid by Dylan Thuras and Rosemary Mosco. Our family loves to travel. My younger daughter loves adventure and intrigue and my older daughter loves learning about cultures and history. This book was great for our entire family.
The book includes 100 destinations in nearly fifty different countries, spanning every continent. Some of the locations are mysterious, others intriguing, others are awe-inspiring. You can easily find sites in certain countries, and the sites are classified - caves, waterfalls, migrations, and more. It's a great book for the seasoned world traveler or those who just dream of faraway destinations.
