Infertility affects all kinds of couples, even Kyle and Samantha Busch. Kyle is a champion NASCAR driver and team owner who competes full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 18 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. His wife Samantha, the owner of Murph Boutique; a trendy online clothing shop, is a health and wellness advocate who will be seen on CMT’s upcoming new television show, “Racing Wives.”
The high profile couple enjoys a fulfilling professional life and they emphatically celebrate the joy they get from their beautiful son Brexton. But building their family wasn’t so easy. They faced infertility issues that were troubling, emotional and frustrating for the young couple. After having their own struggles, they found success with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and soon after decided to give back to help support families who may not have the financial means to undergo similar treatment. Through the Kyle Busch Foundation, they started a fund called Bundle of Joy and partnered withReproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte. (REACH clinic) to make it happen.
Together, with a legion of kind friends, family and the racing community, the Busch’s will host their annual fundraising dinner to benefit Bundle of Joy, onWednesday September 26, 2018 at the sophisticated 5Church restaurantin uptown Charlotte. For tickets and information visit,Kylebuschfoundation.org. The event will feature music by Lisa De Novo, a cocktail hour, an elegant five course dinner prepared by Executive ChefJamie Lynch, and a silent auction. The 2017 event raised approximately $140,000 for the wonderful cause.
“Our lives are so blessed by our son,” Samantha Busch says. “Going through the disappointment of trying to get pregnant can be awful. It was a year of trying before Kyle and I saw a doctor and then an additional 5 months of trying with our OBGYN before we went to see a specialist.” she shares.
“We recently had a playdate with all of the families that have participated in the program. We met their beautiful babies and it was wonderful. I think it was nearly as emotional for us as it was for them. We are so appreciative of our sponsors and fans who so generously give to make this happen.”
