Book Nook: Porcupine's Pie

I recently had a chance to review a fun fall book from Beaming Books. It's a fun fall-themed children’s picture book about thankfulness and generosity, Porcupine's Pie, recommended for ages 4-8.

In the book, Porcupine is going to share the Fall Feast with her friend. While she's on her way to wash her berries, she meets a variety of woodland friends who don't have all of the ingredients for their own special dishes. She encourages them all to take what they need from her pantry. When she returns, however, she's missing something that she needs, and the friends have to work together to create a new recipe. There's even a delicious recipe for the "friendship pie" in the back of the book.
A debut picture book from author Laura Renauld and illustrated by Jennie Poh, Porcupine’s Pie is the winner of the Beaming Books Picture Book Contest.
