I recently had the chance to review a unique book from Prestel that would make a very different holiday gift: Sign Here: Twenty-Two Unofficially Official Pull-out Forms to Apply for Dreams, Pets, More Pocket Money, Report Feelings, File Secrets and So Much More.

This was really quite a different and fun book to read. It can be hard to do certain tasks like apologizing, saying thank you, or inviting people over. It can be especially hard for someone struggling to find the right words, people who are shy, those with social quirks, or those who want to set their messages apart. This collection of "forms" gives a fun way to deal with some of these sometimes unpleasant tasks. The forms are designed to be photocopied and filled out, and they really do give a fun way to have unique, personalized messages without having to start from scratch.

There are even forms for kids to fill out for themselves - about dreams, feelings, and alien parents. It's a great gift for any kid - or their parents.
