Hope Houses Workshop, Inc., a social impact toy maker with a purpose-driven mission to spark imagination in young minds and pay it forward through the buy-one, fund-one model, announces the launch of three new hand-crafted doll house structures—all part of the new Entrepreneur Village in the whimsical town of Whishvale.
Each of the toy shops in Entrepreneur Village—Blue Skies Bakery, Two Hammers Hardware Store and Fetching Friends Pet Shop retail for $79, are made in America, and are intricately detailed at 1/24 scale and ship free. Wishvale is an imaginary town that celebrates hope and hard work, and its people who are known for loving what they do. These shops are classic childhood toys, where imagination comes alive as kids will collect each shop to build out Wishvale.
Available at www.hopehousesworkshop.com, 10 percent of sales go directly to female entrepreneurs in developing countries through partnership with Womentum, an established pay-it-forward nonprofit crowdfunding platform for female entrepreneurs in developing countries.
“The theme, pretend play in a small town where people work hard and love what they do, is the vision we have for these women entrepreneurs and their families, and we’ll reach more of them with the work of Hope Houses Workshop, Inc.” says Womentum Founder Prabha Dublish.
The Shops come fully assembled, ship free, are decorated, and include a peg doll with an original companion storybook. Storybooks feature a playful peek into each shop owner’s life and demonstrate what happens when dreamers are doers too.
“Imagination is a muscle that needs some exercise for healthy development, especially since today’s childhood can be overly digital,” said Steve Lefko, Chief Imagination Officer, Hope Houses Workshop. “We promise more than just a toy, it’s a purchase with purpose. Our mission is using pretend play to stretch imaginations, inspire hope in children, and build dreams for families around the world.”
Entrepreneur Village is ideal for parents yearning to unplug, power down, and inspire traditional pretend play. Storybooks feature upcycle craft projects for aspiring entrepreneurs and their new shop: bottle caps for cakes; twisties for flowers or a washcloth to make their own shop dog; just to name a few upcycle projects.
