“We are pleased to announce that all of our products are now available and shipping to customers,” said Michael J. Harakal, Founder & CEO of PawPail. “The positive reception has been overwhelming and we look forward to our continued growth over the holiday season.”
The PawPail system includes several environmentally responsible design features, including:
• Patent-pending DualVent™ technology minimizes odors and eliminates the use of a liner bag, reducing the amount of plastic going to landfills
• Activated Carbon Air Filter absorbs odors and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• Controlled-life plastic waste bags that are engineered to break down into carbon dioxide, water, mineral salts and biomass in the presence of oxygen
Online orders as well as subscription bag and filter refills can be purchased on the company’s website, www.pawpail.com. For more information, visit PawPail.com or engage with the brand’s pet owner community on social media @PawPail.

Why was the PawPail created?
PawPail was created to be the most convenient way to manage pet waste while controlling harmful odors.
We had recently moved into a new construction home in Florida with our 2 dogs (Mookie and Mars). Like in many suburban communities, the homes are close together, yards are small and the neighborhood is managed by a homeowners association. In our community, garbage cans must remain in our garages until it's garbage day. Every time I took our dogs for a walk and they did their business, I would have to throw their poop bags out in our garbage can in the garage - which in Florida can be 100 degrees in summer. You can imagine the smell. I knew there had to be a better way, but the existing pet waste products were small, lightweight and flimsy and not designed to be used outside. Using a garbage can was ugly, inconvenient and smelled terrible. The in-ground waste management systems aren't permissible in a community like mine. And none of these options dispensed the dog poop bags that most owners use to clean up after their pets.
What are its benefits over what pet owners typically do?
Placing a PawPail near where you enter/exit your property for dog walks is the most convenient way to clean up after your pet. Grab one or two of our controlled-life PawBags™ from your PawPail on your way out the door, then clean up after your pets and deposit them back in the PawPail as you return home. Instead of buying tiny 15-bag rolls for a portable pet waste bag dispenser and then having to 1) store all of the extra bag rolls somewhere and 2) constantly refill the dispenser, PawPail uses a large, 200-bag roll that is easy to install and replace using our patent-pending interface and will last for weeks. It's ideal for older pet owners who may have arthritis. Our bags contain environmental additives that break them down much faster than ordinary plastic. Lastly, the combination of our patent-pending DualVent™ technology that allows air-flow through the closed container and our activated carbon air filter controls the harmful odors form your pet's waste. PawPail can also rest on the ground or be mounted to any exterior feature using our optional Mounting System.
How long is the station itself designed to last?
PawPail is manufactured with durable, weather resistant materials to last for years. The plastic is UV-resistant and the metal hardware for the hinges and mounting system is all stainless steel so it won't rust. The interior basket is a coated steel so it's not only easy to clean, it's resistant to moisture.
