My family and I have been fortunate to visit Ice Castles in previous years. This year, there's one in Minnesota in Excelsior. It looks like a lot of fun, but our schedule won't allow us to attend this year.
Excelsior isn't the only place for the fun - they also have castles in Dillon, Edmonton, Lake Geneva, New Hampshire, and Midway.
The castles are beautiful and well worth a visit. Pre-buying tickets is recommended, and you should check out your nearest location for special events. In Minnesota we've gotten to see fire performers and princesses - it's easy to spend several hours there, even with the cold!
