When nurse Sarah Adams (Marta Dusseldorp) returns home to 1950s Australia after 20 years in Europe, she quickly becomes entangled in the lives of the wealthy Bligh family. Sparks fly with dashing widower George (Brett Climo, Snowy River: The McGregor Saga), but she clashes with his formidable mother, Elizabeth (Noni Hazlehurst, Little Fish), who enlists George’s devious sister-in-law (Jenni Baird, The 4400) to disrupt their romance. A Place to Call Home also stars David Berry (Outlander).
