In the series, which is based off of Deal’s numerous successful curriculums including The Smart Stepdad and The Smart Stepmom, Deal shares his expertise in order to benefit the whole family.

As the amount of stepfamilies in society increases, that number grows within the church as well. According to Pew Research, back in 2014, 4 in 10 new marriages involved at least one partner who was in a previous marriage. Blended families are no longer a small minority.
