Book Nook: The Book of African Proverbs

I enjoy quote books, so I was happy to review The Book of African Proverbs. Like other quote books, it's easy to pick up and put down and look at short chunks at a time. It also offers a different perspective, makes readers think, and has quite a few inspirational quotes as well.

I like how the book is organized into sections - the categories are pretty internally consistent. I love the quote choices, with some unexpected statements that I wouldn't have thought of, but make sense. It's also nice to see the country of origin, especially since there are so many diverse cultures within Africa that it helps differentiate between them instead of lumping them all together.
