Contest: What Do Your Pets Do When You're Not at Home?

To celebrate THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS 2, the heartwarming animated film of the summer available this week on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD, The Story Pirates are partnering with Illumination and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment for a fun contest to capture the wildest and funniest stories about pets.

Kids everywhere (via their parents and caregivers) are invited to submit their original story on a topic that relates directly to this hit animated family movie: What Do Your Pets Do When You’re Not at Home? 
 
Parents of authors (ages 4 to 18) are invited to submit their stories at: www.storypirates.com/secretlife by (September 10th, 2019). The winner will be chosen and announced in late September. The winning story will be performed on a special bonus episode of the Story Pirates Podcast, and a full cast of Story Pirates will also perform their story for the lucky winner.

NBCUniversal and Story Pirates have enjoyed a year-long partnership and corporate volunteer program wherein hundreds of NBCUniversal employees have participated in Story Love. “This program, where we enlist volunteers to help us write positive, hand-written letters to young authors, has helped us immeasurably to further encourage kids to keep writing,” says Benjamin Salka, co-founder and CEO of Story Pirates.
