Book Nook: The Draw Any Animal Book

In case you haven't picked up on this, my daughter loves it when I get art books to review. This time I got to review The Draw Any Animal Book, which has 150 step-by-step instructions that can be used to draw nearly any kind of creature.

My daughter loves big cats and wolves, so she flipped to those first. She also likes ocean creatures, pets like dogs and cats, and a few other animals, so she got lots of practice drawing basically her own zoo!

The steps in the book are easy enough that I was able to follow them and do a decent job, and I'm not that great at art. I also appreciated the history behind this book - it's actually from a French artist who lived decades ago and contributed animal drawing lessons to a weekly paper. It's a great book, direct and without a ton of fluff, but great for building up skill in drawing animals.
