Book Nook: Frog's Rainy-Day Story and Other Fables

Our family has a devotion time every night, where we read the Bible, devotion books, or other books that have a values-based theme, so I was happy to review Frog's Rainy-Day Story and Other Fables.

I like how flexible this is. The stories are quick enough to be read to young kids, but the lessons are timeless enough to work for older kids as well. Each fable has the short story, the lesson, and a page where the wisdom of the world is contrasted with Biblical verses.

To enhance the learning, there's a free downloadable "Burrowing Deeper" study/activity guide for children and families to use. To get a taste of the book, you can listen to a sample of the first fable.
