Book Nook: Proverbs from Around the World

I recently had the chance to review Proverbs from Around the World. I like quotes and proverbs, so this was a fun book to read. Because proverbs are short, it's easy to pick up and put down at any time, reading just a few nuggets of wisdom.

The book does a good job organizing the proverbs. It is true to its name - there are proverbs from many cultures all around the world. It's a good way to see how universal wisdom is, but also a good way to get a perspective that comes from a certain cultural experience. All in all, it was a good, inspirational book to have, one that was enjoyable to learn from.
