Consumer Critique: HP’s New Laptop - Security Edition

Introduction
With an ever-increasing focus on technology, we want our kids to be safe when using it, especially when they’re on the Internet. However, it can be hard to monitor what they’re up to. If your kid needs a laptop or if you need a laptop that your kid can borrow from time to time, you want to make sure it’s secure.
Fortunately, HP has you covered with their new laptop: the Spectre x360 13.
Security Features of the Spectre x360 13
HP’s new Spectre laptop is set to be a powerful machine, but what seperates it from every other laptop are the numerous security features found in the laptop. With these security features, you’ll be able to keep you and your kid safe from any threat on the Internet.
For example, the webcam will be hooked up to an on/off switch, saving you from needing to cover up the webcam in fear of someone hacking the computer and snooping through it.
The microphone is a similar situation, though you won’t be able to turn it off. However, there will be a dedicated mute button, which is always nice.
Perhaps the biggest help will be the inclusion of ExpressVPN. HP will be giving out a 30-day free trial for ExpressVPN, a program dedicated to keeping your data safe from other people on the network or shady websites.
There will be a privacy screen for the laptop, but it won’t be available until January 2020. However, the privacy screen can keep people–including your kid–from viewing sensitive information on your screen unless they’re directly in front of it.
Conclusion

If you need a laptop that is secure for you and your kid, the HP Spectre x360 13 is it. It’s set to release this October, so start saving up!
