Meet Alfred the Alien, Brad the Bookworm, Chrissy the Cat, and more in Draw 62 Characters and Make Them Cute, by Heegyum Kim and Quarry Books!
I recently had a chance to review this book, which is great for anyone who likes cartoon characters, illustrating stories, or doodling. It's good for beginners but can also help more experienced artists develop additional drawing skills. The characters start with basic geometric shapes, which is a good way to create the base of characters in cartoons, but then goes on to adding identifying features (to help differentiate characters). It also works in expressions, poses, and props, to personalize each image and help bring it to life in a story.
