Book Nook: Children's Books About Greta Thunberg

Greta Thunberg is all over the news lately, from being named Time's 2019 Person of the Year to her low-carbon footprint sail across the Atlantic to speak at the UN COP25 climate change conference. As grown-ups, teens, and kids all buzz about Greta's inspiring story, here is a roundup of children's books about Greta Thunberg.

Greta and the Giants
Inspired by Greta Thunberg's work to bring awareness to the world's climate crisis, this vibrant and thoughtful story introduces the importance of consciously taking care of the world around us. Told in allegory, this lovely picture book shares Greta's message in a way that is easy for even the littlest eyes and ears to understand. A section at the back features ideas for how kids and families can incorporate green habits into everyday life. To reduce the book's carbon footprint, Greta and the Giants is printed in the USA on 100% recycled paper, and 3% of the cover price is donated to 350.org, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting climate change.
