Mealtime Magic: Ham and Cheese Panini and Ice Cream Sandwiches from Forno De Minas' Pão de Queijo

Ham and Cheese Panini
Ingredients
1 bag Forno de Minas Pão de Queijo
2 teaspoons butter
12 slices Swiss cheese 12 thin slices deli ham
1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
1⁄4 cup whole grain mustard

Directions


Slice your completed Pão de Queijo and spread one side with mustard and the other with mayo. Top with deli ham and swiss cheese. Grill the Pão de Queijo in a panini grill to yield a meal like no other.
Ice Cream Sandwich
Ingredients: 
  • 1 bag Forno de Minas Pão de Queijo 
  • Gluten-Free ice cream of your choice
  • Gluten-Free sprinkles of your choice

Directions:

  1. Take out the ice cream from the freezer to soften.
  2. Bake the Pão de Queijo according to the instructions on the package.
  3. While the Pão de Queijo is baking, add a generous amount of the sprinkles to a plate. Set aside.
  4. Let the Pão de Queijo cool.
  5. Once cooled off, cut the Pão de Queijo open, horizontally (the way you would a sandwich bun). 
  6. Add the softened ice cream to one half of the Pão de Queijo, then top it off with the other half.
  7. Once assembled, roll the ice cream sandwich – ice cream side down – in the sprinkles.
  8. Enjoy!
