Book Nook: Spring Books from Zonderkidz

I recently had a chance to review some new publications from Zonderkidz.

What Would You Wish For?What would you wish for if a genie gave you three wishes? Thought-provoking text by David Sable and beautiful illustrations by Emma Yarlett make this book an inspiring story that will encourage children of all ages to help make the world a more hopeful and peaceful place. It's a great way to start a discussion about selflessness and what happens when we work to improve the world for everyone.
Stand-Up Guys: 50 Christian Men Who Changed the WorldStand-Up Guys features inspiring stories of Christian men doing good all over the world. With a focus on diverse men working in or near our times from social justice to scientific research to promoting the arts, this book features never-before-told stories of intrepid people who made a difference in our world. It's a great book for all young men (and women), to provide examples of role models that truly made an effort to make a difference.
Nighty Night Narwhal
Featuring whimsical illustrations and playful rhyming text, this sweet padded storybook will appeal to any child who has ever had trouble sleeping or has attempted to avoid bedtime. Little ones will laugh themselves sleepy as they read along with Nolan, a wonderfully unique narwhal who is not quite ready for bed. It's a cute book featuring a unique animal!
NIV, Artisan Collection Bible for Girls
The NIV Artisan Collection Bible for Girls allows girls ages 8 to 12 to express themselves every day. The wide margins allow plenty of room for notes, journaling, or artwork next to treasured verses. This Bible is ideal for writing, drawing, doodling, or adding whatever artful elements a girl may choose to connect deeper with God’s Word. There's no extra special commentary, but this is a very beautiful Bible that will be appealing to the artist who connects with God's Word through art.
