What are some common things people may purchase to make life at home more comfortable?
With travel plans, school plans, work plans all being cancelled, finding ways to entertain yourself and your family, educate your kids, and stay productive can get expensive. Here are some ways to:
  • Invest in yourself

Is there anything that's difficult to get delivered?
  • Most retailers have closed their doors for the time being, so it’s not as easy as it once was to run out and grab some last-minute items so online shopping--especially for essentials like groceries-- have heavily increased. Amazon in particular is taking a major shipment setback as more orders are coming in and increasing delivery time frames as major department stores are experiencing. However, many stores are offering alternative pick up and delivery options so products are still coming--but may take a while. Here are some options:
    • Target
      • Drive Up—a Target employee delivers your purchase to your car in the parking lot.
      • Shipt—a shopper makes a same-day delivery to your doorstep.
      • Target.com—orders are shipped directly to you.
      • See if an item is eligible for order pickup, look for “free ship to store” or “free order pickup” when adding the item to your cart. You can also shop from a list of pickup-eligible items by browsing any category and selecting “buy online & pick up” from the “shipping & pickup” drop-down. If the price is lower in the store, you will automatically receive the lower price.
    • CVS Pharmacy
      • Offering one-two day shipping on all prescription orders
    • Home Depot
      • You can either shop in-store or online at The Home Depot—with options to buy online and pick up in store or utilize same-day delivery. Save with cash back from RetailMeNot.
    • Best Buy
How can people find the best deals on their delivery purchases?
  • Do your research and price compare: This is something shoppers should always be doing before making any purchases. Some websites are offering different delivery options depending on what you purchase and how much. Check other retailers and make sure you are getting the best deal before clicking the first offer you see.
