It's a little bit like a pet rock - you know it's not going to actually do anything, but it's fun to pretend and imagine (even for adults). Plus, there are actually seeds in the packet! I had a chance to do an interview to learn more.
Why were Dogseeds created?
Like the Pet Rock, Dogseeds were created to give animal lovers--many of whom can't have a pet--the chance to try to grow their own pups. Will it work? Highly doubtful. But it's sure a fun idea to try.
Who is the ideal recipient of Dogseeds?
People who are in need of a little hope right now. People who love anything to do with animals. People who are in search of a funny gift. People who like to laugh. People who are going stir-crazy during this insane time. Mostly, all people.
Do we get to find out what the seeds really are, or is that a surprise?
The package contains information about what you're likely to grow. And it doesn't go woof!
What's your favorite thing to do with dogs?
Due to allergies in the family, I've never owned a dog. But I sure love them from afar (and hope someday to grow one).
