Memorial Day is coming up, and that means most of us will have a long weekend. In my area, the weather is supposed to be fairly decent, with a few showers. That means we'll likely be doing a backyard cookout. At our last backyard cookout, we had a chance to try a new offering from Stuffed Puffs - chocolate flavor!
If you haven't tried Stuffed Puffs before, they're marshmallows with chocolate inside. The chocolate is designed to melt, which means you don't need squares of chocolate for your s'mores. They taste pretty good plain too - it's kind of like a whipped chocolate filling inside.
With the new variety, the marshmallows themselves are chocolate, so it's an even more full chocolatey flavor. Like the white varieties, sometimes when the chocolate gets melty the marshmallow spins - but that happens anyway if you only use a single prong. I really liked these chocolate marshmallows - and it tasted delicious when we spread the graham crackers with peanut butter first!
