With this week being Teacher Appreciation Week, kids AND parents are getting creative in the ways they’re showing gratitude for their beloved teachers during social distancing. While some are sending e-cards and “thank you” videos, ClassTag is kicking things up notch by hosting a national virtual talent show - #SchoolsGotTalent - in partnership with Brainly and TIME for Kids.
Over 2 million parents, students, and teachers from their user base are participating and anyone is welcome to join in the fun. On May 19th, ClassTag will be awarding a $10,000 prize, split between the teacher and school with the most votes, in addition to money raised by a fundraising campaign.
Students and parents have already started submitting their creative talents, from snowboarding to guitar jamming sessions to virtual DJ parties! You can check out the submissions by visiting the #SchoolsGotTalent’s Instagram page.
