Enriching Education: Empowering Confident Youth free for Minneapolis Public Schools

Jean Paul Paulynice, MBA, author of bestselling book, From Idea to Realitycited by Forbes as one of “The Best Books For Startup Founders and First-Time Entrepreneurs,” announces that he is offering to donate his proprietary in-depth self-esteem, self-awareness, empathy-building and goal-setting immersive 9 week program, titled EMPOWERING CONFIDENT YOUTH, as a gift to the Minneapolis Public School District, providing the curriculum, lesson plans, syllabi and workbook materials free of charge to all Minneapolis Public Schools and classrooms - kindergarten through 12th grade.

The program - built for the purposes of developing emotional intelligence, empathy, self-esteem, self-awareness and goal-setting in children and adolescents with three distinctive courses for elementary school, middle school and high school - is an invaluable gift that has the potential to not only aide in healing the city of Minneapolis, but to sow the seeds of emotional intelligence quotient and self-awareness to raise a new generation that is conscious and united on all fronts, as one productive human race.

“Right now the world is watching Minneapolis amid this great unrest and injustice. We want to take this opportunity to offer this program, at no cost, to the entire Minneapolis Public School District to establish as our official pilot program from grades K through 12, to witness the impact it has on children in that city,” states Empowering Confident Youth creator, Jean Paul Paulynice.

Why This is Needed at This Time

Children are more anxious and stressed than ever before. According to one of the largest studies conducted in twenty years, researchers collected questionnaire data on mental health and well-being from more than 6,300 secondary school pupils from 21 different schools, and 15% of 12-16 year-olds are experiencing high or very high levels of mental health difficulties.

How do we nurture and raise leaders for a better tomorrow?

The EMPOWERING CONFIDENT YOUTH 9 week, immersive leadership empowerment program is a necessary augmentation to traditional academic education. This program is meant to be helmed by educators in classroom settings, or in the home with the guidance of a parent or guardian.

Each Minneapolis public school will be gifted with the EMPOWERING CONFIDENT YOUTH program applicable to their school (elementary, middle or high school) and all teachers in each school will be provided with the program’s 42 page instructional manual outlining detailed modules, classroom applications and project work for students. Students will each be provided with their own workbook to complete their assignments and projects, reflect on their learning and growth, and evaluate and chronicle their individual experience with the program.

“Raising children with emotional intelligence, compassion and empathy for others, a healthy self-esteem and a clear vision for their future based on their individual ‘superpowers,’ are not optional aspects of a whole education, but necessary for a generation that is called upon to take this global shift in consciousness and run with it.”
