Fun Gifts from 30 Watt

The Joeski Shower Coffee Holder from 30 Watt allows coffee-lovers to enjoy their daily cup of joe while in the shower.

From the creators of the Sudski Shower Beer Holder and Sipski Shower Wine Holder, 30 Watt has launched a solution to take care of your pre-noon craving. The Joeski Shower Coffee Holder allows coffee-lovers to enjoy their daily cup of joe while in the shower.
The Joeski Shower Coffee Holder has a grip as strong as your morning coffee. It can hold up to five pounds with its patented grip technology, without using risky suction cups or messy adhesives. The Joeski holds most mug shapes and sizes up to 20 ounces.
The coffee shower holder combines two of the most essential parts of every morning routine – coffee and a shower. The Joeski is ideal for the morning person who is always on the go and wants to streamline their mornings with efficiency. On the other hand, the Joeski is also perfect for those who may have hit the snooze button too many times and desperately need a caffeine boost to start the day.

The Joeski is available at Amazon.com, where you can see video demonstrations and images on the product pages. These amusing yet practical gifts won’t break the bank, with prices in the $15.00 range. The Joeski was inspired by 30 Watt’s popular Sipski Wine Holder, and Sudski Beer Holder.

I had a chance to interview Ryan Walther to learn more.

You had experience working at The Onion - can you share a little bit about your involvement there?
>I was an early partner in the Onion when we were just a newspaper in Wisconsin. We built the Onion newspaper into a household name in comedy, delivering news across a multi-media network.

How did you transition from that to creating products?
I've always loved comedy. I thank David Letterman for this. After spending over 20 years at the Onion, I had a pretty good education on how world-class comedy is created. I saw what fun the Onion brought to the news, and wanted to do the same for gifting, after realizing there was no go-to brand when you wanted a funny gift. Gifting was borning. There are over 500 million gifting occasions every year, in the United States alone, and our mission was born; to bring fun and laughter to gifting through great product, content and experience.

Admittedly, I can see an actual need for the Sipski - wine and a bubble bath might be appealing. Do you think people buying the Sudski and Joeski are buying them for functional use or humor?
Customers are buying it for themselves and/or their friends. What 30 Watt strives to do is to bring great ideas, great design and fun to everyday products.

What are you goals for 30Watt?
To make gifting fun. And deliver billions of laughs every year. After all, aren't parties supposed to be fun?

30 Watt
30 Watt’s CEO, Ryan Walther, began his career as an early partner at The Onion, during his college days in Wisconsin. He aided their rise to a household name, sowing his comical oats there for over 20 years.
It was there that he met Arik Nordby – the creative mastermind behind The Onion’s most popular product at the time (a prank gift box affectionately known today as the Prank Pack). They co-founded 30 Watt on the basis of a simple idea: bring The Onion style of humor and content to the product world.
30 Watt develops, designs, and manufactures unconventional products that empower people to be clever. The company tells funny stories and solves unique problems through form and function.
Stay tuned for more exciting announcements coming in June from 30 Watt at https://30watt.com.
