Right now, there's a lot of at-home learning going on. It can be hard for parents to find things that keep kids occupied, or things that are just the right age. For our kids, a lot of prepared kits are too young, or too regimented - my kids like a lot of open-ended exploration. That's why I was thrilled to try out some STEM kits from the makers of Camp Invention®.
These STEM Activity Kits hit just the right balance for my kids - 6th and 8th grade students who are a little ahead of grade level and love to explore. Because of the way they're designed, they'd work for kids who are somewhat younger as well, especially with parental guidance. My kids just loved to explore and create with the materials in the box, way outside the given prompts and ideas. They even made a fun spinning toy.
The kits have instructions and prompts, as well as links to exclusive digital contents. Topics include robotics, flight, principles of design, and more. The kits have literally everything needed - they even come with "basic" materials like scissors and tape, so there's very little prep work for the parents. If you're looking for at-home learning or gifts for kids that love to explore, check these kits out!
