Even with the Pandemic taking over every facet of our lives this year, the nation has still found something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Over 87% of those questioned in a survey by See’s Candies (www.seescandies.com) are looking forward to the celebrations, and 77% of the respondents cite their families as the main reason for their gratitude.
56% of those surveyed, however, are planning to celebrate in a different way, with 33.5% of people enjoying the day with their own household only and 28% not traveling to see family members.
Even with all the changes to the holiday and the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19, 56% of survey takers aren’t feeling stressed about the day and are most looking forward to holiday staples like turkey (36%) and pie (33%).
The overwhelming majority of people (77%) are thankful for their families this year, with friends (3%) and jobs (3%) trailing behind.
To add a little holiday cheer to Thanksgiving this year, See’s Candies has created a range of free cards to share with your friends and family.
Whether you want to thank your Quaranteam, the people who supported you during quarantine (just like 21% of those surveyed), your family and friends (18%) or your binge-watching partner (15%), there’s a card for everyone.
