Low temp CRYO Likido®CRYO chiller units are rolling off the assembly line to address global need for biomaterials (includes vaccines) deep-cold storage as well as non-mobile storage at clinics, hospitals, camps, and administration facilities. Likido’s mobile CRYO chiller:

  • Is a low temperature, small footprint freezer unit
  • Incorporates an innovative 2-stage technology
  • Produces very low temperatures below -103°F, (-75°C)
  • Delivers single ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant (1,357) that is 90% less than R-23
  • Small size is Ideal for safe container shipments of biomaterial transported by land and sea as well as on-site biomaterial mobility and storage
Innovate UK provided a grant for fast-track of "repurposing environmentally damaging HFC cryogenic chillers to environmentally inert natural refrigerant". Likido®CRYO chillers enable "greening" of  laboratories, hospitals, and facilities including manufacturing, hotels, and residences saving all 75% of traditional energy cost with extremely low GWP addressing European climate change policy.

A turnkey non-mobile solution by Likido also enables hospitals and other facilities to upgrade their ability to store and dispense temperature-sensitive biomaterials. An alternative to traditional heating, using only 25% of the energy of traditional boilers and electric heaters, translates to $110,000 annual cost savings for a 250-bed hotel (California).
