How was the diet developed?
The diet was developed by me over 60 years of research done personally and it’s success has been demonstrated by millions of people losing weight analyzed by each one of the many weight reduction programs available.
Are there certain types of people for whom this diet is more appropriate than others?
As we all know, each person is unique with their own DNA and their own micro biome. Therefore, some people may respond better to one weight loss program than another. For this reason, I have included into my programs that each individual does their own research on what would best suits their needs and then I evaluate those needs using my over 60 years of experience.
What makes a nonprofit weight loss center unique?
A nonprofit weight loss center is unique because most centers are run by physicians and surgeons as a source of income. My nonprofit has a mission just to help people not support me or my family since I’m retired.
My nonprofit weight loss center is unique in that it is a free service using the described weight loss tools in the book and yet, achieving the same success. Physicians and surgeons usually run these programs as a source of income. Since I am retired, the mission of my nonprofit is to help people and not use it as a source of income.
The main point in the book is if I can do it with the tools described in the book then people can utilize these tools towards achieving the same success. Even though research has shown that long-term weight loss, even with surgical intervention, is not even 20% successful long-term.
Dr. Stern has attended weight loss conferences, as well as worked with a variety of professionals in the field to gain a better understanding about weight issues, including nutritionists, physical therapists, and psychologists. As part of his program, he will also be recommending ongoing treatment to board-certified physicians and surgeons in obesity medicine in each patient’s local area.
